The Foundation is a non-profit institution, whose purpose is:
- to support and promote education and scientific research on sustainability issues with special regard to the economic and social development of companies, consistent with the optimal use of available resources in addition to the ethical, social and cultural growth of the communities involved;
- to undertake and promote any humanitarian interventions to support people affected by natural disaster or other emergency.
In particular Foundation shall:
- undertake and promote any action related to scientific research, technological innovation and education with regard to the economic and social development of the company and the territory, for the most suitable use of the resources and the development of processes, products and applications;
- conduct studies as well as promotional and information campaigns, also for social and cultural purposes, either directly or by organizing or encouraging meetings, conferences and/or seminars, producing publications, essays and/or internet sites or through grants, prizes and scholarships.
In order to reach such goals the Foundation shall:
- Sign and execute all such deeds and agreements as shall be necessary and expedient ; Promote understanding or even become a member of Italian or foreign institutions, organizations, associations, foundations that strive to achieve goals correlated or associated with those of the Foundation;
- Encourage, also through grants, the development of Italian or foreign institutions, organizations, associations, foundations that strive to achieve goals correlated or associated with those of the Foundation
- Sponsor fundraising to support projects and ventures to achieve goals correlated or associated with those of the Foundation.
- Set up all such instrumental activities as shall be necessary or expedient to attain the statutory objectives.
There are no territorial limits to the Foundation’s activity. |
