Bergamo Scienza
 Bearing witness to its strong commitment to the environment and innovation, the Foundation will be supporting the BergamoScienza in Bergamo.
BergamoScienza, one of the first events of this kind in Italy, is in fact aimed at improving the dissemination of scientific knowledge in an effort to open up the world of science to an eager young audience.
Scientists and citizens are actually given the chance to meet each other in an exciting weave of cultural and entertainment events aimed at fostering the relevance of scientific knowledge. There will be guided visits to Italcementi’s laboratories where scientists will explain, amongst other things, how the use of the new range of photocatalytic cements developed thanks to the company’s commitment to innovation can effectively contribute to improving the quality of life.
Offering a new cultural approach to scientific knowledge in a language everyone understands can help young people in particular to become familiar with those local enterprises that run their business activities by resorting to innovation-oriented knowledge and expertise.

Biennale Venezia - "Italian Pavilion" project
 The Foundation Italcementi Cav. Lav. Carlo Pesenti supports the Project of the "Italian stand" of the 10° International Architecture Exibition of the Biennale in Venice where twenty young Italian architects will be called to plan the city of the future, during such event a scholarship of the value of 25.000 € entitled to Giancarlo de Carlo will be awarded Such initiative is among those activities related to scientific research, technological innovation, education and training with regard to the economic and social development of the industry and the territory, to the most efficient use of resources and to the development of processes, products and applications which are at the basis of the Foundation purposes.
